West Torrens District Cricket Club is extremely saddened to advise of the death of Life Member Rex Blundell. He passed suddenly last Sunday evening.
Rex served West Torrens for many years as player, captain, coach, secretary, SACA delegate, barman and committeeman. He played 185 A Grade games as a WK/bat with stints as captain of the B and D Grade teams. He represented South Australia in 24 First-class and 3 List A matches.
Rex was a fine man, an excellent coach and an outstanding team mate, friend & family man. He was a great supporter of the club and will be sadly missed by all at WTDCC. Our condolences to his wife, Lola and boys, Marc and Glen and extended family & friends.
